Kombucha tea is a fermented effervescent drink originating as far as 2,000 years ago. It is made with tea, sugar, a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). The taste is likened to a fruity apple cider packed with immense antioxidants and probiotic benefits.
Kombucha is high in vitamin B and vitamin C; as well as amino acids, enzymes. Kombucha can contain up to 40 strains of beneficial probiotic bacteria and yeasts.
